We had the Mapping Festival of Geneva for 10 days organized by many partners and Garagecube members who also release Model8, a VJ software for Mac. They plan a new core based on Tiger features ensuring multi-projection; G5, 4 cards, 8 outputs.
Modul8 will handle up to 8 layers of video, short clips can be pre-loaded into RAM, plus it can receive and manipulate an external video source. Modul8 has a MIDI learn facility and the new upgrade to v2.5 now accepts Free Frame plug-ins which greatly expand the capabilities of VJ software.
'Artamis' is one of the last places of "Alternative culture" in Geneva. But the government already plan to demolish this central place to built new offices.
The green place is a cemetery; upside the building of Tax services and on the left square is Artamis (various small buildings)
So, it's not the end but the beginning of innovation ^^
